TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last Updated: July 1, 2025

Our terms are designed to guide a smooth, trusted partnership. They outline how we work together, ensuring every step of the journey is clear, respectful, and seamless.

1. Services Offered

BYG Events is a full-service event planning and design studio based in California. We offer services including event curation, décor, vendor coordination, on site management, and cultural consultancy. Services are available on a full-service, partial planning, or consultation basis, depending on the scope of the engagement.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to provide timely event details including timelines, guest lists, cultural or religious preferences, and venue access. Delays in client input or approvals may affect project schedules, vendor bookings, or overall execution.

3. Intellectual Property

All visual assets—including designs, mood boards, event photos, and written content—are either created by BYG Events or licensed for use. Clients may not replicate or redistribute this content without written permission. Original photography or content provided by clients remains their property, but BYG Events may request usage rights for marketing purposes.

4. Pricing and Payment

All pricing will be shared in a formal proposal. Payments must be made per the agreed terms—typically via bank transfer. A deposit is required to confirm bookings. Delays in payment may result in postponed or canceled services. Pricing excludes applicable taxes and third-party vendor costs unless stated otherwise.

5. Confidentiality

We value the privacy of our clients. Any personal, cultural, or financial details shared with BYG Events will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except when necessary for event execution.

6. Vendor Relationships

BYG Events works with a curated network of trusted vendors but is not liable for the performance or reliability of third-party vendors. We will assist in dispute resolution but are not financially responsible for vendor issues beyond our control.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

In the event of a cancellation or postponement, BYG Events must be informed in writing. Retainers are non-refundable. Additional fees may apply for rescheduling, depending on vendor availability and new timelines.

8. Limitation of Liability

We will make every effort to ensure flawless execution. However, we are not liable for unforeseen circumstances including weather disruptions, vendor failures, or force majeure. Liability is limited to the amount paid directly to BYG Events.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from our services shall be handled through arbitration or the applicable legal channels in California.

10. Updates to Terms

BYG Events reserves the right to update these terms as needed. Clients are encouraged to review the terms periodically. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the most recent version.
